September already! I think that was the fastest the summer has gone by for us in a very long time. Hello everyone, Katie here from LHSHS. I am so pleased that our LHSHS Blog Hop is back after its summer vacation, and you’re stopping by to join us.
Are you already cruising along in your school year, having found your groove last month? Are you still trying to get started?
I’m the latter. Always, lol. We don’t start until after Labor Day anyway, but this year, Labor Day came and went…and I’m still scrambling. It’s not so much that I need to find materials or a curriculum (my 10th grader will be doing courses offered by Time4Learning), but we definitely have not found that motivation to get started. Great thing about homeschooling, is working on your own time frame, I suppose. 🙂
What about you guys? Share with all of us how your year got started or how you plan on getting a good start to your year! Is there anything new that you’re doing this year, or something you found last year that works for your family? Jump right in and link your homeschool high school “getting back into the swing of things” post today!
Be careful to add your direct post page, not your homepage, in the link-up. Then copy and paste the code to share the link-up on YOUR own post page-thus the Blog Hop!
Here’s how: Just below where you click to enter your blog, you will see “Get the code here” . Click on it and a popup will give the code for Blogger and Word Press. Go to your blog post and click on HTML, scroll to the bottom and skip a line, then paste either the code for Blogger or Word Press and hit update. Done!
Once it’s added, all the other blogs linked-up will show up on your page. The code will allow your readers to also join in the hop and link-up with the rest of us, or simply hop to the other posts to read and enjoy.
Please don’t forget to visit at least three other participating blogs and leave them a comment letting them know you were there. You know we ALL love getting comments. And I would be forever grateful if you would please help promote the link-up via any appropriate hashtags on Twitter or Facebook. Example: #lhshsbloghop is the hashtag for Let’s Homeschool High School Blog Hop.
And finally, we would really love it if you would head over to our official blog hop page to grab our blog hop image (button) to share on your sidebar, plus all the nitty gritty details are waiting for you to check out.
Until next time, happy high school homeschooling!
