5 Options for Creating Graduation Invites

With graduations upon us, you may be looking for a way to create memorable and professional announcements or invitations.  Though this can be a bit daunting for the uninitiated, it really isn’t scary or hard.  There are some super ways available to create the perfect announcement or invitation for your graduate.  You’ve both worked hard to get to this point; I’m sure you want something that practically shouts, “We did it!”

Here are five tools you can use to create fantastic announcements and invitations for your graduating senior.  I’ve used a couple of these myself, and I can definitely vouch for their quality and ease of use!

I used Shutterfly for my graduation announcements.  The cards were absolutely gorgeous and very high quality.  I 100% recommend ordering from Shutterfly.

I cannot say enough good things about Canva.  It is online, and completely free to design nearly anything you need.  Canva makes graphic design incredibly easy and they have tons of free options.  If you do choose to use any of their stock photography, it’s only $1.00 a piece.  Once your design is created, you can choose to save it as an image or a high-quality PDF and then print it however/wherever suits you best.  Here is a compilation of Canva tutorials to get started.

The Print Shop

This program is a little pricey, but I’ve only had great experiences with The Print Shop.  You could definitely use this as a helpful resource for creating graduation announcements and invitations.

Along with Shutterfly, I used HSLDA to order graduation invitations.  These are great little invitations because you can personalize them online and they look fantastic.  Definitely recommended!

VistaPrint offers beautiful graduation announcements as well, much like Shutterfly.  I haven’t used VistaPrint specifically for graduation supplies, but I have used them for other products and they always deliver quality materials.

(((P.S. — Another great option is TinyPrints, much like Shutterfly!)))

We have also used Shutterfly the last couple years and been very pleased. For my oldest students we used www.homeschooldiploma.com Very pleased with them, too. They were very good to confirm wording, etc. We have ordered other graduation supplies from homeschooldiploma, too.
