    GAME: Write-a-go-round

I saw this article while browsing Twitter recently and it seemed like a great idea. We don't get enough activity down here, but I know there's a lot of writer types. So let's play WRITE-A-GO-ROUND!

Rules: the next person to post reads the sentence in the previous post and writes another sentence as a "continuation." The next person to post does the same thing with THAT post, and it goes on until we have a coherent (or, more likely, NOT coherent) story!

    Here we go...

"There was once a sunny girl on a sunny Sunday morn who sat in her sunroom by the seashore."

One day this girl (her name was Sunshine), got bored of all the sun; she decided to change everything.

Sunshine realized that she was constantly getting burned by the sun, so she decided to boycott it. Yes, she boycotted the sun. It created, what one would call, waves among her fellow sunny friends.

Whether it was coincidence, or not, very soon after she started her so-called, boycott, the sun went behind the clouds and would not come out. Sunshine's sunny friends were all shocked to see that the most dedicated of their group, Sunshine, was abandoning them at such time of need. In fact, it was almost as if she were rejoicing. They didn't know what to do.

They knew that Sunshine didn't like the sun, or at least, wasn't very fond of it, but they could not believe that she was actually happy the sun was gone. She relished the cloudy days and the dull colors. She began discarding all bright colors from her wardrobe and clothing herself in dark greys and blacks. They knew something was wrong. Someone needed to do something...bring back the sun.

Sunshine met a new friend... a squirrel... a gold squirrel. The squirrel explained that it was the sun guardian for earth. Sunshine had been slowly turning darker, fading from her usual yellow aura. When she had heard this, she flashed bight, then black, then slightly darker than she'd been before. The sun guardian looked apprehensively at her and scowled, muttering something about "the girl being further gone than originally presumed"... and she flipped out. She threw things and stomped her feet and tore at her hair. When she looked up, her face was an icy complexion of hate and pain, as though someone inside was fighting to get out...
