How is your year going so far? Anyone giving up on a curriculum? So far we are still liking the things we are using. The year seems to be jam packed! Busy, busy! Not as laid back as previous years.

Ours is too! It is so busy I can't seem to find time to take a breath. So far curriculum is pretty good...there may be a few things I might have to tweak. We started working toward taking our finals this year as CLEP or AP tests... Well see how that goes.![]()

So far so good but there are still things we haven't started that I planned on. I have Life of Fred to use with TT Pre Algebra but my son keeps resisting it for some reason. I've let him slide on it since he started a new science but it's time to force the issue. I also wanted to do more writing work which he hates. He's doing some basic work but he needs a lot more practice!
Trying to balance 3 kids doing very different levels of work is the challenging part!

Many things are going great, but there are still a few things that we are struggling with. Like getting into a good history high school program...and writing... Oh how we need writing help!

Just trying to figure out how to fit everything in a day! Between the stuff I teach them, the stuff they teach themselves, and their dual credit classes, sometimes it seems the kids aren't RELAXING enough.
