Thread: What did your 9th grader do for science?

    Hey Carol!
    Right now everything seems like a long time in the future (to her), but I'm trying to begin preparing now. We don't have a college here; the closest is 50 miles away. I should check into that CC's A. requirements for say, x-ray tech.
    If I may ask, what are you using for biology at home?

    I currently have a 7th and 9th grader doing Biology and an 11th grader in Chemistry!

    We used Miller and Levine's biology text. I was able to find a student edition, teacher edition, and blank lab books at Abebooks.com fairly inexpensively. As long as you're not looking for the brand-spanking-new edition, you can find them at a reasonable price.
