Seattle University welcomes applicants who have received their education through homeschooling experiences. We recognize that traditional high school may not be ideal for every student, thus, in order to maintain consistency in how we read applications from all students, homeschool students must supply the additional information noted in this policy.

Seattle University,  founded in 1891, is a Jesuit Catholic university located on 50 acres in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. There are over 7,200 students that are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate

programs within eight schools and colleges. There are 65 undergraduate degree programs and many additional minors and specializations. Seattle University welcomes applicants who have received their education through homeschooling experiences. They are understanding traditional schooling does not fit every student, and therefore accept homeschoolers.

Requirement 1- Complete homeschool questions on Common Application

Requirement 2- Submit Official High School Transcript

Requirement 3- Two letters of recommendation, one from counselor and an additional one from non-relative

Requirement 4- Submit assessment scores
