    I agree with Kitty's comment. However, state graduation requirements can sometimes be a useful guide for those who live in states that don't provide a specific course of study for homeschooling high school. I know in Ohio, that our state colleges/universities like to see homeschooled applicants have a similar course of study to public schooled applicants, although it tends to be less credits than what many local school districts require for graduation. So, yeah...use these requirements as ideas to plot a course, but don't feel like your child can't graduate or be accepted into a college if they aren't followed (unless you are in a state that grants a diploma to homeschoolers who follow state requirements).
