The University Of California Davis is home of the aggies-go-getters, change makers and problem solvers who make their mark at one of the top public universities in the United States. Since they opened in 1908, they’ve been known for standout academics, sustainability, and Aggie Pride as well as valuing the Northern California Lifestyle. To be considered for admission to UC Davis, freshman applicants must earn a high school diploma (or equivalent) and satisfy the UC admission requirements, this is the same for homeschooled applicants.

  • Requirement 1-At least 11 of the 15 year-long courses shown in the “a-g” requirements below must be completed before your senior year of high school
  • Requirement 2- Must take either the ACT with writing or SAT with essay before December as official scores need to be received by January
  • Requirement 3 – If you are a California resident, UC Davis offers two paths for admission to a UC campus; local context or sitewide context
